Today marked the first day of discussion about Exhibition. Mr Wells led a session on 'What is Exhibition?' encouraging the boys to consider all the key concepts and to understand what each of these mean through the example of the question, 'Is it Vandalism or it is Public Art?'
The boys worked in teams of three to create questions they could ask related to the key concepts. This proved to be thought-provoking and challenging but provided them with a real chance to discuss their understandings and to provide focus for what they needed to find out more about. After reflection on the Key Concepts, they then took their understandings to the next level by considering their questioning for our Expert Speakers in Week 3. They worked collaboratively to come up with questions related to the fields of expertise of each of our speakers.

I love how you went outside to plan! A very cool idea to use all of the school and to have freedom to move around and consider ideas.

I have heard from Mr Norman how each of you have created a brilliant burning question that you will research for your Exhibition. Well done on your open minds as you approached the forming of your questions.
