This year the boys will explore the transdisciplinary theme 'Sharing the Planet.'
Sharing the Planet is described as: An inquiry into rights and responsibilities in the struggle to share finite resources with other people and with other living things; communities and the relationships within and. between them; access to equal opportunities; peace and conflict resolution. This year Sharing the Planet will be explored through the lens of the United Nations Sustainable Global Goals.

The United Nations was formed after WWII, in 1945, in an attempt to maintain world peace and prevent future conflicts. It is currently made of 193 member states, and the UN and its work are guided by the purposes and principles contained in its founding Charter. The UN has evolved over the years to keep pace with a rapidly changing world. But one thing has stayed the same: it remains the one place on Earth where all the world’s nations can gather together, discuss common problems, and find shared solutions that benefit all of humanity. https://www.un.org/en/about-us Transdisciplinary Theme How the World Works Inquiry into the natural world and its laws, the interaction between the natural world (physical and biological) and human societies; how humans use their understanding of scientific principles; the impact of scientific and technological advances on society and on the environment.
