The boys have returned from the holidays refreshed and ready to take up where they left off at the end of Term 3. This week has seen the boys deconstruct their note-taking in order to identify the big ideas within their inquiry. They have organized each of these into their sub-headings which will be used for their report writing.
At this point in the process, sorting the information can show you where you need to go back to the research or find other sources to make sure that you can explain and evidence your information. The boys are learning how to construct an information report and are using a variety of organizers and their knowledge of VCOP to develop their written language skills. This is the biggest task of the Exhibition process and requires the boys to really hone in on what they have learned through their investigation phase. The boys are at a variety of stages in the writing of their report, but each has made a fantastic start. Keep up the great work boys. We are proud of what you have achieved so far.
