With their research well underway and analysis of the research providing insights into their understandings of their topic, the students began their work on reports. They used a variety of structures to organize their learning which helped them to focus on the key concepts and how they would be represented in their writing.
The task was to write a report outlining the key ideas they had discovered through their research and present this in a formal report style paper-based presentation. With most students at the finalization stages, the process of editing towards publishing is currently happening in classes. Students are using the rubric to peer-assess and self-assess their work.
